In the short 9-year history of our hotel group we have been fortunate enough to build up a small portfolio of outstanding hotels in the UK and Adriatic (Croatia).

Some of these are in my native Croatia, an outstandingly beautiful country that continues to enioy a deserved revival in it's fortunes as a fashionable destination. In April the group completed a most important purchase, the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel in Dubrovnik, the jewel of the Adriatic. This 320 room property suffered devastation during the war and will go through a complete reconstruction and refurbishment before opening in the summer. The hotel Bellevue in Dubrovnik has planning approval for a complete reconstruction and will re-open a few weeks before the Palace. This will be the largest undertaking to date and it will give Adriatic Luxury Hotels, our Croatian trading arm, 400 new rooms in a magnificent trio of Dubrovnik Hotels.

The groups UK hotels have not been neglected with the recent revamp of Strok’s Restaurant & Bar, Sir Christopher Wren’s House Hotel and Spa’s fine dining restaurant adding the only outside Champagne Bar and Martini Bar in Windsor. Wren’s Club Sir Christopher Wren’s fitness, beauty and spa has also added a third floor, outside sauna and relaxation room.

Taplow House Hotel and Restaurant has launched the new look Pascoes a fine dining restaurant overlooking 6 acres of magnificent grounds. And The Christopher Hotel will undergo a complete refurbishment of its 33 bedrooms starting in August and will open its doors in November as Eton’s only Boutique Hotel.
